Shodhana is built so that this policy can stay short.
Nothing. Shodhana has no accounts, no analytics, no telemetry, and no crash reporting. It makes no network requests while scanning or cleaning. Everything the app learns about your disk stays on your Mac.
To do its job, Shodhana reads file names and sizes in locations like
caches, logs, and application-support folders — locally, to display them to
you. File contents are never read, stored, or transmitted. Your
cleaning history and whitelist are stored on your own Mac in
~/Library/Application Support/Shodhana.
If you use "Check for Updates", the app contacts our update server to fetch a version list. This request contains no personal information.
Payments are processed by Dodo Payments as merchant of record. They collect the billing information needed to complete your purchase under their own privacy policy; we receive your name and email to issue your license key, and use them for nothing else.
